Internet Explorer 9 Beta video leaks, no metro in sight

Take this one with a grain of salt: A video purportedly showing Internet Explorer 9 beta has found its way to YouTube. It seems rather convincing - you see the browser score 95/100 in ACID3 and go through the paces of some of the new browser benchmarks.
The biggest letdown here is that the UI seems incredibly ... mundane. I mean, for some reason the guy filming the video opened every link in a new window, so you don't get to see the tabs (which are supposedly right next to the address bar, according to previous mock-ups and rumors).
Still, for what it's worth, this leak seems to be substantial. I can only hope that something more exciting happens with the UI by the time the browser officially launches, which is pretty soon now.

update: the ever-watchful Long Zheng has informed us that the video may well have been created using Firefox and a custom theme -- the site in question has apparently made with the shenanigans once before...Internet Explorer 9 Beta video leaks, no metro in sight originally appeared on Download Squad on Tue, 07 Sep 2010 10:30:00 EST.
